2019 GADA-TEMERTY FOUNDATION (TF) RESEARCH GRANT AWARDS

GADA Canada is proud to announce the 2019 Temerty Foundation (TF) Research Grant Awards.

Two successful recipients will be awarded up to Canadian Dollars $50,000 each, for primary, clinical, or translational research in Genetic Aortic Disorders – Syndromic and Non-syndromic thoracic aortic aneurysms & dissections (TAAD) and Familial TAAD.

The grant awards, not to exceed Canadian Dollars $50,000 each, will be made available in December 2019 from funds provided to the GADA’s Research Program by The Temerty Foundation.

GADA's Scientific Review Committee, consisting of experts in basic, translational and clinical research, will review each application. Grant awards are based on the approval of GADA's Board of Directors.

Eligibility:

GADA’s grant program is created to provide financial support for researchers who may hold a position of Principal Investigator or equivalent. The principal investigator must have an earned doctoral or other terminal degree in a bio-medical discipline. The investigator must have proven ability to pursue independent research as evidenced by original research publications in peer-reviewed journals.

The research may be performed in Canada or internationally.
