Family Reunion

On July 18-20, 2006 about 180 people attended the Johan Toews family reunion in Gretna, Manitoba. Thanks to CMA member Karen Toews many learned about the family’s ‘heart problems” and their genetic history. Karen says that by the end of the reunion, the five generations that had attended, had a better understanding of the disorder that could be running in their families and what to do if they suspect they may have Marfan syndrome.
